Realizing the broadcasting message in the LAN

Belkin APM Software has the function of sending the event message to customers in time via Windows

Message service. Please refer to

Broadcast Message Settings on page 25 for detailed information, or refer to the Appendix B, Belkin APM

Software Event table.

There are three group lists for Broadcast to column:

Realizing the UPS self-test schedule

To open this option, selects UPS Test Manager in Battery Self-Test Schedule from the UPS menu.

Adding new UPS self-test tasks

To add a new UPS self-test task:

1. Click on the empty Task List first and then click Add Test at the bottom of the window.

2. Click OK when the adding is complete.

All Users

The assigned messages will be sent to all

PCs in the same Network with the host PC,

whether it’s in the same domain or not. With

reference to the range of broadcasting, there

are altogether three options: all users,

Domain users and special users.

Domain User

The assigned messages will be sent to PCs

in the same NT domain with the host PC.

Special Users

The assigned messages will only be sent to

certain appointed user(s).
